We at Calvary Chapel Salzburg base our belief on the whole bible and no additional books. It is the inspired, true word of God and so the determining authority for all that we believe in and live by. We believe in the eternal God consisting of the holy trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that all mankind is sinful and has fallen short of the glory of God and thus separated from the reason of our existence. We believe that Jesus Christ (the Son) has died on the cross for our sins, rose again and has fully paid for our debt of sin. We believe that every person, that wants to experience the forgiveness of sin, has to confess and turn away from these by entrusting himself to the works of Jesus and believing in what Jesus has done on the cross. We believe that Jesus Christ, through his own resurrection, has the power to raise everyone from spiritual death and to recreate the meaning in life for which we were created. We believe that Jesus Christ will return to this earth. Until this (unknown) point in time, our function at Calvary Chapel Salzburg is to:

1) Love God and to grow in our relationship to HIM (the meaning of life) through worship, prayer and bible studies.

2) Love and serve each other as brothers and sisters in Christ

3) Love the people of this world and to share the good news about what Jesus Christ has done for them.
